Hunger Action Month
September is Hunger Action Month. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, in conjunction with Feeding America and its 200 affiliated food banks, ask you to lend your voice to the continuing fight against hunger. The initiative is to mobilize the public and raise awareness of hunger across the country and the Greater Baton Rouge area.
We are asking everyone to help make a difference in September; whether you can volunteer your time, make a donation of food or funds, or simply spread the word. For more ways to fight hunger view our “30 Ways in 30 Days“ calendar. As local events change the calendar will be updated, so please make sure you check back frequently to ensure you don’t miss a unique opportunity to fight hunger in the community!
