Adopt Pierre Pig and Thibodeaux Turkey!
Brighten the holidays with Pierre Pig or Thibodeaux Turkey. For just $25 you can “adopt” a pig or turkey beanie stuffed animal. All proceeds go to purchase hams and turkeys during the holidays for those who are unable to afford a holiday meal.
In lieu of receiving your “adopted” stuffed animal, you may choose to have it sent to a child in need. This program run continuously throughout the year and the food is purchased and delivered for the holidays.

Hunger Action Month may only be 30 days, but the fight against hunger is not.
Each September the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank with Feeding America asks all Americans to take action against domestic hunger during Hunger Action Month.
Throughout Hunger Action Month, Feeding America’s nationwide network of more than 200 food banks is calling upon communities to take action through the “30 Ways in 30 Days” campaign. Whether advocating and raising awareness, making donations, or giving your time and energy, find the way that is right for you to make a difference during Hunger Action Month.
Remember – hunger is 365 days a year. Consider using some of the suggestions from the “30 Ways in 30 Days” calendar throughout the rest of year and continue to help feed hope to the hungry.

Hunters for the Hungry
Hunters for the Hungry ask you to think about those in need throughout this hunting season. Donate wild game at any of the participating processors. When donating deer, you may keep the backstrap and tenderloin and the deer is processed at no cost to the hunter.

Huggies Every Little Bottom.
One in three American moms struggle with diaper needs. These moms have had to cut back on basics such as food, utilities, or even child care to provide diapers for their babies. Huggies Every Little Botom is a nationwide campaign benefiting local food and diaper banks with diapers donated by both community supporters, like you, and Huggies.
You can donate diapers to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank by purchasing diapers from our Amazon Wishlist. The diapers purchased will be mailed and delivered directly to the Food Bank.
